Cleaning procedure

1. Cleaning

1. Sweep the house (all floors)

2. Wash any dishes you used and return them to their place

3. Empty and clean the fridge - please don’t leave any food. Put a cork between the lid and the fridge to let air in.

4. Please leave the bathroom and toilet clean!

5. Put the stick in the bathtub (so trapped bugs can climb out again if they fall in)

6. If you made a fire, dump only COLD ashes into the ash pot. The cold ash pot can be dumped behind the outdoor shed. Fires in this area can be catastrophic, be careful! If the ash is still hot, leave it in the ash pot. 

7. Clean the outside sink

8. Send us pictures after cleaning so we know the next guests will find a clean place

2. Closing the house

​

1. Charge flashlights from the USB charging ports on the middle floor (cables are in the basket)

2. Make sure all the taps are tightly closed

3. If you used the outside sink, cover it again with the wooden slat so it doesn’t get clogged with leaves

4. Make sure the beds outside are covered with the plastic covers

5. Refill the wood basket for the next guest before you leave

6. Collect all of your garbage (including bottles) into a garbage bag. Dispose near the Intragna (Funivia) cable car station (location https://tinyurl.com/shjjdz4)

7. Lock all the doors and return the key to the key box using the departure day code we gave you

3. Information

1. Please let us know about anything that got damaged

2. If a resource got depleted (a gas bottle, salt, cooking oil...) please let us know so that we can replace it (no extra charge)

3. Send us clear pictures of the wood piles and let us know how many baskets you used
